proguard.ParseException: Expecting class member name before ‘@’

Issue:
proguard.ParseException: Expecting class member name before ‘@’ in line of file ‘c:\project\bin\proguard.txt
*.xml file contain this source code in Button tag android:onClick

android:onClick="@string/clickHandler"

Workaround:
Add name of function to onClick

android:onClick="myClickHandler"

Handler in MyActivity.java

public void myClickHandler(View view) {
		switch (view.getId()) {
		case R.id.idButton:
		{
				   someFuntion();
		}
		break;
         }
}
